SO I felt that the writer didn't take to one side or the other. I felt like he was the commentator of the vote telling both sides of the tale. As for my own community, my wife considers me to be an introvert and I stay to myself. She on the other hand is very outgoing and likes to talk to and help everyone in our neighborhood. So for me I describe it as nice and quiet but she would take up your whole day explain how and why it's nice and quiet.
