1. Well, In the essay: Who deserves a head start? I think that a lot of the facts like how much money is going where, and how helpful the government is with the head start program is effective. But I feel like this essay just drug on for one to many pages. It could have been easily condensed.
In the "Pursuing the Educated Mind" I thought the most effective part was the suggestions for increased effectivness. For me it's nice to give example from Erin's point of view on how she thinks that the community could help by funding and volunteering.
